Private Pilot Licence
There is no other way to describe it. When your aircraft leaves the ground, with your hands on the controls, it is a feeling that is so special it can only be called FLYING!
Cornwall Aviation has been training pilots since the 1970's and continues in the family tradition today. We specialize in flight training for a hobby or a career, at your pace, and on your schedule.
Our new audio visual ground school and on line examination centre makes it easier than ever to fit your ground training into your busy life style.
Flight training is done seven days a week, during daylight hours and in decent (VFR) weather. You have two choices of aircraft, the two seat Cessna 150 or the four seat Cessna 172. Your instructor will help you choose which one will suit you best.
If you would like a taste of adventure, why not try an Introductory Flight Lesson? Call or email today for details on how you can get a different view on life - from the pilot's seat of an airplane!

Multi Engine Rating - Multi Engine Instrument Rating Twice the Fun - Twice the Challenge
Multi engine flight training on our two Piper Seminoles is the next step toward a career in aviation. Cornwall Aviation has graduates flying for airlines worldwide who first experienced twin engine flying on these aircraft, with this company. Experience plays a key roll in getting the job done efficiently, safely, in the most cost effective manner.
The Piper Seminole was designed as a multi engine trainer. With counter rotating props, they are an easy to fly, forgiving aircraft.
Radio Equipment - GARMIN 430W's
Keeping radio/navigation equipment up to date is very costly but we have invested in our students and continue to upgrade equipment.
- Both aircraft are equipped with dual Garmin 430W's so you are learning with today's technology
- You will learn to use these radios during your training - there is no special fixed ground school fee
- At this school you are welcome to use them on the flight test! We paid a lot of money for those radios, so you are welcome to use all the equipment offered.
We schedule our customers to get in, get it done, and get going. With TWO Seminoles, the Full Motion Redbird FMX Flight Training Device, a friendly staff, and one of the most experienced examiners in Canada today, we have one aim - safe, proficient flight training. NEW - we now have a second Pilot Examiner on staff. Steve Small has joined Glenn as an IFR and Multi Engine Flight Test Examiner.
